12 Ventures Made it To the Unreasonable Institute in East Africa:
Now They Need Your Help!
YOUR SUPPORT CAN HELP THEM ACQUIRE OVER 50 MENTORS, OVER A DOZEN FUNDERS AND A GLOBAL NETWORK OF SUPPORT!
This year, 180 companies from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and South Sudan applied to the 2015 Unreasonable East Africa Institute. And after three months and three rounds of vetting, we’ve selected 12 ventures to attend this year’s Unreasonable Institute in East Africa. They’ve outlasted more than 168 other candidates, proven their integrity, humility, and thoroughness, and been validated by experts in their domains and geographies. And now, in order to afford the opportunity Unreasonable East Africa offers them, they need help raising the costs of attending.
Each venture must raise $3,000 to cover their tuition. The Marketplace exists to make this cost affordable and in the past has allowed entrepreneurs attend the Unreasonable Institute in East Africa. In 2014, 6 of our 12 ventures raised their FULL tuition on this platform.
If these entrepreneurs are able to raise their full tuition on the Unreasonable Marketplace, they’ll secure the chance to work with over 50-world class mentors, forge relationships with over a dozen funders, pitch to about 300 people, get 5-weeks of food and lodging, and build an ever-growing network of fellow Unreasonable entrepreneurs for the rest of their lives without having to pay a dime themselves.
